As you drive through the banana & sugarcane plantations that traverse
through the rainforest you can hear the kookaburras and cockatoos calling. A
wallaby crosses the track and hops into the scrub on his way back from
breakfast. A male cassowary ambles along the edge of the rainforest nudging
his chicks and encouraging them to follow him to find their breakfast.
As the vehicle stops for a photo opportunity your guide ushers you into the
rainforest to point out a scrub turkey nest. You find some rainforest fruit
that is on the ground which are the cassowaries' main diet. Your guide stops
the vehicle for a rest beside a jungle stream where your shoes come off and
you can enjoy the cool clear water on your feet as you watch your guide
entice a jungle perch out for a snack.

At the completion of your tour, you will be returned to your accommodation or to the
bus stop if you are leaving town. Luggage transfers are available (provided you leave the kitchen sink
behind) for those departing town afterwards.

If you would prefer to travel on a day not currently offered, or would like a private tour
'Tours by appointment' are available ex Mission Beach for 1 - 4 passengers.

Cancellation Policy: Payment is to be made prior to travel. Late cancellations and no shows may
attract a cancellation fee. Depending on circumstances this may be up to 100%. Prices are in
Australian dollars. We reserve the right to change itineraries and routes according to road
conditions without notice. Boar Busters is not responsible for passengers or their property
failing to be at designated points at designated times or for any loss or damage arising out
of such failure. Boar Busters is not responsible for any personal belongings which has been
lost, damaged or stolen. The laws of Queensland govern the tour. You warrant that you will not
bring any hazardous or illegal substances or items which may or become dangerous to any animals.
